Oh how much we LOVE this girl

Lilly has been such a happy girl the past few weeks and it has been nice to enjoy! She is definently the spoiled one of the family, not just by Don and I but by Ben and Aliza as well. Right now Lilly feels she has to wear a dress EVERY day to be a true princess. She wakes up and within 30 min. wants to get dressed, she even lets me do her hair so that she looks "so beautiful". It is funny but would be nice if she would wear pants every once in awhile! She (like Ben and Aliza as well) is in love with the Phantom of the Opera movie. We have been listening to the music in the car so Ben wanted to see the movie. He and Aliza watched it and liked it and now Lilly asks to watch it everyday, and she will sit through the entire movie! She is just so cute and loving. She loves to give you hugs and kisses and just sit on your lap, she is a sweet sweet girl!

Easter Fun

Everyone had a great Easter, with conference falling on Easter this year we had plenty of time in the morning for an easter egg hunt. We colored eggs the night before which as usual is a big hit with the kids, they just can't get enough! It is amazing how ugly some eggs can get after being put into 4 or 5 different colors! Oh well it's all about the fun of it right! The Easter Bunny left everyone lots of goodies, Lilly was so excited that the easter bunny came to her house. Earlier in the week and her preschool they had a egg hunt, as they were going down stairs the teacher said she saw the easter bunny outside, the other two girls were so excited to see if he was still there, but Lilly was scared to death! She wanted me to hold her and she was holding on for dear life! At first she wouldn't event get down to look for eggs, she would start crying, but when she saw the eggs had candy she grew a little braver and realized the easter bunny might not be such a bad guy!

Lilly and the Zoo

Lilly and I went to the zoo with some friends a few weeks ago, it was fun just having one kid with me! Lilly loved all the animals of course. Before we went I asked her if she wanted to see the tigers, she said yes, how about the giraffes, she said yes, we went through a few animals like this then I said do you want to see the gorillas? She said NO! The gorillas will eat me! I couldn't help but laugh, after some talking I convinced her that the gorillas would not eat her and she could look at them. As we were leaving the house I gave her her lunchbox to carry and she wouldn't take it, she said "no mom, the gorillas will eat my lunch!" Funny girl, in the end she saw and loved the gorillas and they did not eat her or her lunch!

Aliza's Birthday Party

Well I am way behind on updating again! Aliza had her birthday party on March 28th, it was a pink pirate party! It was so cute! I made cupcakes and put in these super cute cupcake toppers, which were made by Whitney Gillis at whitneygillisdesign.blogspot.com/, she is amazing and totally affordable. She does everything via email so you don't have to live close, she can do any theme you want, just send her a picture of what you are doing - check out her website lots of great things! And since I was feeling crafty I made Aliza a couple of applique shirts to wear as well. The skull one was a little more difficult but turned out cute and matched the theme perfectly. It was alot of fun, now Lilly just keeps talking about her birthday party that is coming up!
