Don played hooky from work this week and spent the day with Ben at Six Flags over Texas. Ben had received a free ticket from a reading contest at school so off they went. It was very hot, the high that day was 105! But it did not detract from their fun! The park was not to busy that day Don said, so they rode pretty much every ride in the park (that Ben was tall enough for). Ben also got a chance to pose with a lot of the characters and they even saw the parade! Although Don said compared to the Disneyland parades, this one was a joke, Ben enjoyed it though and that is what really matters. That night Ben fell right to sleep, finally something wore him out! Just as a side note to the day, when Ben got home that night he could tell me exactly what his dad does at work, so you can imagine the kind of conversations going on that day! And yes Aliza is anxiously awaiting her special day alone with dad!
