Eagles Pride Winner

Aliza with Mrs. Griffin the principal

Friday the 13th was a lucky day in the Wilde house! Aliza recieved the Eagles Pride Award at school today. This is an award given to out every six weeks to one student from each grade level. Aliza was selected as the Kindergarten winner. Aliza was chosen for courage which was the theme the school was concentrating on during this 6 week period. It was great to see her so excited to win, she was given a trophy and a special eagle shirt that you can only get by being chosen for Eagles Pride. We are so proud of her! Her day got even better when later that afternoon she got her cast off, she had been counting down the days! She said the first thing she was going to do when she got her cast off was to go home and take a hot bath! How funny is that, she is so dramatic!
When we got to the school that morning we found out from Ben's teacher that he was chosen to read the poem he wrote for "strut your stuff". He was also very excited, and we were glad we were there to hear it, he was the only one chosen from his class as well. I will post the video I took of him later. Ben is such a smart boy and we are so proud of him as well!
